Dr. Jacques Verré, French Dental Surgeon with 49 years of experience (10 years in France and 39 years in India), joined Auroville since 1981 as volunteer honorary dental practitioner. Founder and Executive of Auroville Dental Centre and ADCERRA using the universal “Ø Concept” applied in Health Care – yet unique in India – is a Director of GEPEC (Global Engineering, Promotion and Education Collaborative), a NPO.
This Global Concept provides the easiest way and the optimum conditions to maintain high quality of care with the highest control of fingers for the benefit of the patients all around the world. He has presented this revolutionary Concept in different countries.

H. Suriyagandhi, Village Health Nurse with 34 years of experience (6 years as a nurse and 28 years as hygienist), joined the Auroville Dental Centre in 1992 and was trained as dental hygienist. She is Executive of Auroville Dental Centre and ADCERRA, Coordinator of the dental outreach programme for the rural population, Member of Inter Complaint Committee on sexual harassment in work places, Instructor of Aviva hormonal dance, Vertebral therapy for women health and diet for diabetes & hypertension, past Member of Child Safety and Protection Service.
Dr. Abdoul Rahman
General Dental Practioner
Dr. Abdoul Rahman, B.D.S., FCIP, C.E.S (Paris), serving the Auroville Community with expertise treatment from Surgical to Cosmetic Dentistry with 21 years of experience. Trained in ‘0 Concept” Ergonomic Dentistry and its main field of interest in conservative treatment (root canals), crowns and bridges, dentures and minor surgeries.
He is the past President of Indian Dental Association, Puducherry Branch.

Chief Dental Officer
Dr. P.S. Viswapurna, B.D.S., M.D.S., M.ORTHRCS (Edinburgh), FDS RCS (Edinburgh), FDTRCSEd Specialist Orthodontist. He works as a Head of Clinical Services and Course Leader in orthodontics for Oman Dental College, Muscat, and Sultanate of Oman. He visits the clinic in Seychelles for the past 10 years and comes every 6 weeks for his practice. His pool of patients includes both young and adults. He specializes in adult Orthodontics and interceptive orthodontics for the young children. The orthodontic techniques used includes Invisalign, Lingual, Ceramic, Incognito and Metal Braces in MBT System.
